Walker Park’s Circle of Trees ‘07

North Muskegon’s 2007-08 eighth grade students researched the Internet for information on Holocaust survivors/victims and Darfur refugees and relief operations. From this information, students designed laminated ornaments and hung them on the Frasier Fir donated by Great Lakes Dental Excellence and purchased from Mike Ruark, owner of Whippi-Dip. Mr. Ruark also gave the project a boost with a large cup of pennies.
